The Calgary Marching Show Band Association would like to welcome everyone to Music In Motion. It’s great to be able to gather this way again and we thank you all for coming.
The CMSBA is a volunteer organization that provides fundraising opportunities for members of the Calgary Stampede Showband and Calgary Stampede Showriders.
“CMSBA provides funding for young adults, citizens of the world, and ambassadors for the Calgary area, to give them goosebump moments through amazing travel, performance and life experiences.”
Our members work bingos, casinos, the Calgary Stampede, and take part in voluntary fundraising. In return the CMSBA is able to fund approximately 50 percent of tour costs each year, which makes these fantastic programs accessible to more young people.

Performance Order
The Band of Outriders
Band of Outriders is an energetic, forty-piece ensemble, comprised of Calgary Stampede Showband alumni and other musicians from the Calgary area. Formed in 1991, Band of Outriders is known for their diverse musical repertoire – often contrasting traditional swing tunes and classical standards with rock and western favorites.
Calgary Stetson Show Band
Calgary Stetson Show Band is a community-focused registered charity that delivers unique performance experiences for youth as one of Canada’s premier youth performing arts programs. Combining music with movement to produce unforgettable experiences, the organization provides opportunities for youth to develop musical skills in a unique, fun and exciting performance-based atmosphere.
Calgary Round-Up Band
The Calgary Round-Up Band is a youth marching show band and performing arts ensemble established in 1956. Having been in operation for over 60 years, the ensemble is one of Canada's oldest youth marching bands.
Red Deer Royals Marching Show Band
Numbering 60 members and now celebrating their 53rd year, the Red Deer Royals are "Central Alberta's World Class Marching Show Band." In addition to being an accomplished marching band, the Royals have a strong symphonic band tradition and an outstanding colour guard.
Our Lady of the Rockies High School Marching Band
Our lady of the Rockies High School Marching Band is comprised of high school aged students from Calgary Alberta. Formerly known as the Bishop Grandin Marching Ghosts, Our Lady of the Rockies High School Marching Band is excited to be up and marching again after 2 years of suspended operations!
Calgary Stampede Showband
Formed by the Calgary Stampede in 1971, is the world-renowned Calgary Stampede Showband. These 140 versatile and talented young performers are proud to preserve and celebrate our western heritage, cultures and community spirit and are known for their high level of professionalism, innovative performances, and unique visual entertainment.
