A Message from the Hosts:

The CMSBA is a non-profit fundraising organization that works endlessly to support the Calgary Stampede Showband, and Calgary Stampede Showriders. Their mission is to support its members by offsetting the costs of out-of-province travel opportunities. In recent years, the CMSBA has supported travel opportunities to the USA, Brazil and Japan. This year the CMSBA is supporting the programs offsetting the costs for travel to West Virginia and New York to compete at the WASMB World Championships and DCI Regional events.

Fundraising activities range from Bingos, Casinos, Raffle box 50/50, Grandstand 50/50 sales at the annual Calgary Stampede, and smaller fundraisers and selling band merchandise. Additional funds are also secured through annual grants and community initiatives.

CMSBA is comprised of dedicated volunteers who represent the families form the Calgary Stampede Showband, Calgary Stampede Showriders, and our community. The CMSBA board consists of voluntary CMSBA members who arrange and coordinate the various fundraising activities through monthly meetings. If you, friend, or family member would like to support our annual initiatives your help is always welcome!

Whenever you have the opportunity to support the CMSBA you are helping the Stampede Showband and Stampede Showriders maintain their world class programming! We are looking forward to an exciting and adventurous year ahead and we hope you will join us to support this world class team.  We thank you in anticipation of your continued support.

The CMSBA would like to give a special thank you to the Alberta Foundation for the Arts for their ongoing support through grants provided to the CMSBA.

Finally, to the friends and family members here today showing their support for all the performers.  We are grateful for the dedication and hard work you have provided to help make all of our bands a success. Thank you.
