Grab a blanket, bring your family and friends, and join us for Cinema at Stampede Campus, a brand-new free outdoor movie series at the beautiful BMO Amphitheatre this August.
Set along the river next to Sam Centre, the BMO Amphitheatre provides the perfect backdrop for an evening under the stars. With built-in amphitheatre seating and plenty of grassy space for blankets, it's one of Calgary's most unique places to catch a movie.
The series kicks off on Saturday, August 8 with Night at the Museum, a fitting choice alongside SAM Centre's immersive Calgary Stampede experience. Then, on Saturday, August 22, join us for Barbie, complete with special appearances from the Barbie-inspired roller skaters of Biggies Roller Rink.
The fun starts before the movies:
4:00–5:00 p.m., guests can enjoy free admission to the SAM Centre galleries, along with movie-themed activities and entertainment around the Campus before each film begins at 5:30 p.m.
The first 200 guests each night will also receive free popcorn courtesy of Maisie Eatery, with additional food and beverages available for purchase throughout the evening.
Admission is completely free, but seating is limited. We encourage guests to arrive early, bring a blanket or lawn chair, and settle in for an unforgettable summer evening at Stampede Campus.
